A ground-breaking day! Overbrook to have a Sens rink by December!

Under a bright fall sky, dignitaries from the Sens Foundation and Trinity Development Group Inc, along with MP Mauril Bélanger, City of Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, Councillors Nussbaum and Fleury, and a class of students from St. Michael Catholic School, participated in the ground-breaking ceremony for the installation of a Sens RINK in Overbrook Park. “It will be ready for use by December,” announced the Mayor

Speaking at the ceremony, Danielle Robinson, president and CEO of the Ottawa Senators Foundation, said “We believe that all children should have access to physical activity and social development. The new rink will provide a year-round recreational facility that gives kids in the community the opportunity to play, learn and have fun.”
