(Ottawa): Climate change is a complex problem, and solving it takes much more than international agreements. In Canada, cities and the federal government need to play a dynamic and mutually reinforcing role in tackling this challenge.
On Wednesday, January 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Ecology Ottawa will host the Honourable Catherine McKenna (Ottawa Centre MP, Minister of Environment and Climate Change), David Chernushenko (Capital Ward Councillor, Chair of the Environment and Climate Protection Committee) and Tobi Nussbaum (Ridea-Rockcliffe Ward Councillor) for a panel discussion on cities and climate change. The event will take place at Ottawa Public Library (downtown branch) auditorium at 120 Metcalfe St.
