Overbrook Community Day on Saturday, August 19, 2017 – 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.


This year, Overbrook is celebrating Canada 150 in organizing event celebrating Canada and multiculturalism. Highlights of the day include:

–          A giant family picnic

–          Multicultural artists: dancers, painters, singers from various countries in the world and our aboriginal community. We will have various art section spread out in the park, each activity will theme Canada 150 and will request the public participation.

–          Overbrook will try to set a Ottawa record: Most red and white Maple Leaves worn by people in a community event.

–          Various fun activities for the all family: various sports, family game, paramedics, firefighters, etc.

Overbrook will also celebrate its heritage with the unveiling of a permanent exposition telling the untold story of our neighborhood.

The free event will be held at the Overbrook Community Centre, 33 Quill Street.
