The Overbrook Community Association Parks/ Environment / Heritage Committee cordially invites you to come to a meeting to share your ideas for the first ever Overbrook Community Garden.

Great News: The City of Ottawa – 2012 Community Environmental Projects Grant Program has approved our application for money to start a Community Garden here in Overbrook.
Are You Interested in Community Gardening?
Volunteers Needed: We will need volunteers to help plan and set up the community garden.
We want to Hear Your Voices: Where in Overbrook should we put the garden? How should it evolve?
Guest Speaker: Sue Bramley, Community Development Consultant with the City of Ottawa’s Community and Social Services Department, will share information on the City’s support for community gardens, including the Community Garden Development Fund.
Tree Planting: Sign up to help promote tree planting in Overbrook. Info on the City’s Trees in Trust Program will also be available.
Community Clean Up Days: Sign up to help with the Community Clean up Days.
Community Planter Maintenance: There are several planters installed around the neighbourhood (Lola and Presland, Hardy and Coventry, Overbrook Community Centre. Sign up to help maintain these planters.
